BASF Luwax® and Poligen® products are functional waxes for industrial applications. The Luwax® line includes ethylene homopolymer wax, micronized polyethylene wax, oxidized polyethylene wax, montanic acid wax, montanic ester wax, ethylene copolymer wax, and polyether wax. The Poligen® products are emulsifiable waxes from the Luwax® range.
The Luwax® products are designed for high performance industrial applications. They are transparent, self-emulsifying, and micrononized. Additionally, they are free from surfactants or catalyst residues, and they have high slip resistance.
Poligen® wax emulsions are easy to handle in many applications. They are designed for solvent-free formulations. They are distinguished by their good film formation as additives and high performance in aqueous formulations such as water-based printing inks.
