Nubiperf FCP

The Nubiperf FCP range has been developed to meet the highest organoleptic requirements for those customers that need a higher standard of safety when dealing with ultramarine blues in very sensitive to odor and taste plastics applications without sacrificing the high performance and unique color of this inorganic pigment vs. phthalocyanine Blues and/or Cobalt Blues.

Nubiperf AR

Nubiperf AR is a new generation Acid-Resistant Ultramarine Blue developed through a novel silica encapsulation technology that is much more efficient than the conventional one. Because of this Nubiperf AR provides 40% higher tinting strength than conventional Acid-Resistant Ultramarine Blues. Moreover Nubiperf AR has got a higher acid resistance in use and a higher weather resistance, it is easier to disperse and it better resists abrasion so that it keeps all the characteristics and performance during and after processing.

Nubix

The Nubix V range is the highest performing Ultramarine Violets range thanks to its enhanced dispersibility versus conventional grades. The range covers from more bluish shades to more reddish shades. Ultramarine Violets are mostly used in Plastics to reduce the yellowish tendency of some resins and to provide brightness to white-colored Plastics. They can also be used to provide a violet shade to all sort of Plastic parts. As Ultramarine Blues, they lack metamerism; therefore they do not change color in function of the illuminant.

Nubiflow

Relying on a very fine particle size and a very narrow granulometric distribution, Nubiflow is especially focused on any process that requires good filterability and excellent dispersibility, such as fibers and very thin films. Nubiola certifies a Filter-Test value lot by lot. Moreover Nubiflow has got a high tinting strength with a reddish undertone.

Nubicoat HWR (High Weather Resistance)

This product is manufactured with a newly developed silica encapsulation technology to prevent from acids attacking the polysulfuredchromophores of the Ultramarine Blue structure. If this attack happens then the unique blue color fades since the chromophore disappears. The new manufacturing technology is based on the encapsulation of elemental particles rather than the encapsulation of agglomerates. A thinner silica layer is deposited therefore on each Ultramarine Blue particle. This results in the encapsulated pigment having a smaller average particle size as well as a narrower particle size distribution. Moreover it provides higher abrasion resistance of the protective silica coating.

Nubicoat HTS (High tinting strength)

This product is produced with a new manufacturing technology that provides 40% more color strength (on average) and enhanced dispersibility/gloss/transparency compared to conventional ultramarine blues used in paints and coatings. Moreover, these allow customers either to make paints with higher hiding power at same color luminosity than in the past or to make paints with the same hiding power as in the past with a stronger blue color.
